Kenny Florian announced his retirement from mixed martial arts May 31, 2012.
Although he had never won any championships, he captured wins over Clay Guida, Takanori Gomi and Joe Stevenson. He has also cemented himself as a great commentator, which I hope he will continue to do.
All I can is congrats for having a great career.

Awesome but incredibly bloody and brutal TKO finish of Antonio ‘Big Foot’ Sliva by former UFC heavyweight champion, Cain Velasquez. He will get a shot at Junior Dos Santos in the near future.
Glad to see Dan Hardy back in vintage form with a KO of Duane ‘Bang’ Ludwig at UFC 146.
And still the undisputed UFC heavyweight champion, Junior Dos Santos, He KO’d Frank Mir at 3.04 of the 2nd round. Junior is now 9-0 in the UFC and his next challenge is looking like a re-match with Cain Velasquez after he made an impressive statement knocking out Antonio ‘Bigfoot’ Silva. The UFC really did a great job putting together an all Heavyweight main card, not a single result went to the judges scorecards, some of the best finishes ever!
